I just wonder is this a true story? The author did a good job at describing every bit of detail. It seemed like it really happened to someone. I did not like the ending. I think he should at least give more details at to what happened after the ending. Yeah, I agree. I would read it again if i had another chance to.

I believe the author intended it to be realistic, and the ending kind of kept me hanging.

Most wonderful book I read all of last year, I must say.
Has anyone read his other book?

It is a great book. Only portions of it are real. Most of the narrative is fiction. A movie is coming out based on the novel. I think it explains quite a bit about the extreme Islamic faith.

Hi, all. I have been interested in this book, but haven't read it yet. does anyone know where I could get it in Braille? Maybe Web Braille or Bookshare?

Try your local library, they have books on CD's.
About the movie, i thought it already came out?
I enjoyed reading the whole story. I like the way he described each events. Does the author of this book have any other good novels? Or do you know of any books that share the same themes with this one?

His other book, 'A Thousand Splendid Suns,' kind of deals with stuff like that, only with women rather than men. Personally I don't like it as much, but there you go.
As for The Kite Runner ... I thought it was amazing. I didn't mind the ending ... but the whole book was outstanding! I read it in audiobook and I reread it like ... a lot. D: I want to see the movie, but I haven't done that yet.
